Read Psalm 112

What does “fearing God” mean? What external signs point to the righteous one being blessed (vv. 2-3)? What external traits characterize his dealings with people (vv. 4-5)? What internal blessings are available (vv. 7-8)? Why does disastrous news fail to shake him?
